INDIANAPOLIS, IN (August 29, 2008)—Mirage®, a Canadian-based manufacturer of home audio speakers, has completely redesigned its web site. Applying a sophisticated new look and implementing several user-friendly features and media tools, this online destination makes researching the brand's Omnipolar® sound both easy and exciting. 

According to Jill Escol, marketing manager for Mirage, the web site accurately reflects—and reinforces—the Mirage brand's appeal, which is all about sophisticated style and immersive audio performance. 

"This site reaches out to those who don't yet know the Mirage name, while demonstrating our enthusiasm to those who already do. It's all part of an ambitious plan that's designed to increase global recognition of the Mirage name and reinforce its brand promises," Escol noted. "Whoever and wherever you are, once you're in the Mirage sound, you'll never want to leave." 

The site's design exudes modern appeal and is meant to focus on how Mirage speakers benefit and blend with a user's lifestyle. Also, many of the site's functions have been streamlined, giving visitors quick and easy access to the information they need to make solid purchase decisions. New features include highly detailed product description pages with expandable and downloadable photos, as well as a product comparison tool and system recommendations. 

Once consumers make a product selection, they can take advantage of the site's "Where to Buy Section," which easily locates the nearest Mirage retailer in their area. Plus, it gives them the advantage of knowing they are buying from an authorized dealer who honors warranty terms.       

Media will also benefit from this new site, as it offers a comprehensive news center and corporate pages that contain all the latest information on Mirage and its products. A complete gallery of downloadable high-resolution photos is also included. 

"We wanted to make this site as friendly to the media as to our consumers," said Escol. "Everything Mirage, including the company's history, milestones and press releases, can all easily be accessed through the news center and "about" pages." 

In addition to the new site, Mirage launched an all-new logo in July that is clean and contemporary, like the products on which it appears. Speaking of which, Mirage will introduce several new products this fall, including its smallest home theater system and powered subwoofers to date.
